Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2, 1981) is an South African model, actress and TV host. Brandt was a model and actress who started her career as an actor in the new Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom and made her American debut with the role as Naevia in the historical series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared in various TV shows in the past decade. This includes Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt began playing Mazikeen (the part that was played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, and Kevin Alejandro) in the Urban-fantasy show Lucifer at the beginning of 2016. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her late teens. Her career began as model for print ads and commercial advertisements. Prior to becoming an infamous model, she worked as a salesperson for retail and as a recruitment consultant for information technology. In 2009, she got her debut role as Leilani on the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Then, in 2021 she made her debut appearance on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. Naevia's role is also reprised by her in the Spartacus miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast to play an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. In the show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist known for being the first reporter to broadcast live from the New York Stock Exchange - is a well-known name and hosts several very popular programs. A veteran broadcaster with over two decades' experience reporting on business and the economics, she was instrumental in assisting CNBC become one of television's top channels for business and economics. An extremely successful career in journalism seems to suggest that the woman was always destined to work in the field of journalism. As a teenager, Maria struggled to decide what career path she would like to pursue. Maria was likely to one day wish to become a musician, later an interior decorator. After she learned about the thrilling and exciting opportunities that journalism offers, there was nothing she could do but go. In addition to being a great journalist the feisty girl is also an inspiration to girls who are considering to pursue a career in journalism. As well as being listed as one of the fifty women who defined the decade, she's the first woman journalist to ever be inducted into Cable Hall of Fame. She is also a journalist and columnist.
